The origins of Miss Gourmet & Co trace back to Western Australia, where the story began. Kirsten Duffield's father held a deep passion for top-notch food and the retail industry, leading him to establish his first business in the 1960s. As time passed, this venture flourished into a renowned establishment, gaining widespread recognition for its exceptional quality, products, and customer service.Miss Gourmet
Kirsten
and her sister Bronwyn inherited their father's love for the world of food
retailing. In 2004, Bronwyn founded Liquorice Gourmet Foods in Western
Australia, swiftly expanding it to encompass four stores. Kirsten soon joined
her sister in this endeavour.
Motivated
to extend their concept to Victoria, Kirsten took the initiative and launched
Miss Gourmet & Co in Hawthorn in late 2016. Alongside Kirsten, her partner
Adrian also plays a significant role in the business. Adrian shares a similar fervour
for food and has previously worked with the renowned Peter Rowland Catering.
With a background in teaching, marketing, and professional sports, Adrian's
diverse expertise constantly propels them to seek out the finest-tasting
produce and healthy foods.
